Job Summary:
The Chicago Stars FC is seeking a PT Operations Associate to assist with event operations for matches during the 2025 professional women's soccer season. The ideal candidate will be an organized and efficient self-starter who is flexible, adaptable, dependable, conscientious, and a team player. This role reports to the Operations Manager in the Operations Department at the team's West Loop Front Office and at Seat Geek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL.
How You Will Contribute:
The Chicago Stars FC is seeking a PT Operations Associate to assist with event operations for matches during the 2025 professional women's soccer season. The ideal candidate will be an organized and efficient self-starter who is flexible, adaptable, dependable, conscientious, and a team player. This role reports to the Operations Manager in the Operations Department at the team's West Loop Front Office and at Seat Geek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL.
How You Will Contribute:
- Assist with managing event operations storage location and maintain inventory of
event-related items.
- Provides general operational support through Operations Crew supervision.
- Assist with setting up and tearing down stadium areas, including the field perimeter, gates, concourse, hospitality spaces, and other activation spaces on match days.
- Assist with credential printing and matchday distribution.
- Assist with preparation of match day documentation.
- Opportunity to assist with non-match day event planning and execution.
Qualifications & Expectations:
- High school Degree or some college preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or labor work
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize quickly, and problem solve.
- Proven reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift items 50 pounds.
- Must be able to attend all Chicago Stars FC home matches.
- Must have a vehicle or access to transportation to get to and from home matches and other facilities.
- Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays, including in an outdoor stadium environment.
Average Weekly Hours: Maximum of 20 hours/week
Compensation: $23/hour
