Position Summary: Chicago Title Insurance Company is hiring an Agency Support Coordinator to participate in the ongoing support of our office and its customers. We are seeking a candidate to provide excellent administrative support to our team of title professionals and underwriters. Real estate paralegal or legal assistant with previous title, bookkeeping, and/or escrow experience is preferred and previous office experience is a must.
Duties: Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence and maintaining records. Review title commitments, policies and other related documents under the supervision of an attorney. Communicate with underwriters, attorneys and office staff effectively to resolve issues. Ensure project deadlines are met. Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Process incoming mail, make copies, maintain files. Perform various office tasks as assigned.
Requirements: Strong attention to detail. Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with legal documents and contracts. Superb organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Accurate typing skills (50-65 words per minute) required.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience: Prior experience in title insurance, bookkeeping, escrow, legal or real estate is preferred, but not required.
Additional Skills: Excellent customer service skills. Positive, upbeat attitude, someone who demonstrates empathy, kindness and reliability. High attention to detail and outstanding communication skills is a must.
