Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Escrow Manager to join our team in Southern Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial real estate transactions and will be responsible for managing their own book of business. Additionally, the Escrow Manager will oversee the escrow process for our Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire escrow process for both residential and commercial transactions.
- Handle and maintain an individual book of business, ensuring accurate and timely closings.
- Ensure all escrow files are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth and timely closings.
- Review and interpret contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to the escrow process.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the escrow process in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure the confidentiality of client information.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have throughout the transaction.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of escrow officers and assistants in the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky locations.
- Prepare and submit regular management reports on the status of escrow transactions, team performance, and compliance metrics.
- Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve the escrow process.
- Must be willing to travel to Dayton and Kentucky offices regularly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in escrow management, with a strong focus on both residential and commercial transactions.
- Proven ability to manage a personal book of business effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of escrow, title, and real estate principles and practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
