We are seeking Material Handlers for our 2n d with our Indy Division in Indianapolis, Indiana .
Starting Pay | $21.00 / hr (Based on Experience) w / increases after 90 days.
JOB DUTIES :
- Operate forklift, Raymond side loader, and overhead crane to move material in the warehouse.
- Move tractor trailers in and out of the warehouse before and after loading is completed.
- Load and unload trucks using handling equipment, place materials in storage locations.
- May receive / inspect and verify the material count.
- May operate saw, or other equipment to process, package, and load.
- Manually move, flip, and turn material to bundle or inspect.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Good general math and measuring skills are a must. Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, side loaders, saws, banding, and / or order packing is highly preferred, but not required. Experience in the steel distribution industry is a definite plus. The position also requires the ability to stand, bend, move for long periods of time, and lift up to 50lbs regularly.
