Job Summary
The Manager of Ticket Sales should be an expert in selling season tickets to Chicago Wolves games to
various organizations and companies. This candidate shall have the desire to sell, leadership capabilities
and follow-through to make sure all personal and departmental goals are achieved. This individual will
seek to develop business relationships to gain revenue by selling season and group tickets for the
Chicago Wolves. He\she will work regular office hours and\or event hours including evenings, weekends,
and holidays. A core function of the Manager of Ticket Sales will be leading as well as generating new
revenue through outbound calls, client meetings, custom emails, events, cross-selling and generating
referrals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Manager of Ticket Sales will be to drive new business growth while also providing strong leadership.
  • Meet and exceed personal revenue goals set by the leadership team.
  • Meet and exceed departmental revenue goals set by leadership team.
  • Help lead the Season Ticket team to sell all season ticket plans and Chicago Wolves products.
  • Assist in developing a strategic plan for New Full Season Equivalents (FSE).
  • Solicit new business opportunities for Season Ticket department.
  • Handle day-to-day ticket sales operations: fielding inbound calls, conducting outbound call blocks, and scheduling off site meetings with clients.
  • Develop flyers, collateral, and promotions materials for events.
  • Plan and coordinate special events for businesses, fans, and all applicable clients to create new revenue streams.
  • Assist with sales processes including planning campaigns, sales timeline/calendar, retention events, along with continued training and on-boarding the ticketing team.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with long time season ticket members.
  • Implement year-round communication strategies to enhance the customer experience.
  • Embrace and support fan development initiatives, creative ticket sales ideas, and community.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Internal drive to succeed as an individual while contributing to team success.
  • Proven ability and a passion for sales.
  • Ability to sell both conceptual and transactional inventory through the entire sales process from prospect identification, contact, ideation, presentation to close.
  • A strong focus on prospecting, relationship sales and customer retention.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal transportation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales, preferred).
  • History of academic excellence measured by GPA and/or standardized test scores.
  • Minimum 4 years prior sales experience with a proven record of sales achievements.
  • Proven leader
  • High energy; ability to remain focused on sales goals and work independently.
