The Medical Scribe is responsible for accurately and efficiently documenting patient medical records during visits. This includes documenting patient medical histories, procedures, treatments, diagnoses, and instructions for self-care or follow-up. The Medical Scribe also assists with clerical tasks such as preparing referral letters, coordinating with referral coordinators, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.

Education and Experience:
Highschool diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant Certification or Scribe Certification preferred.
Language Skills:
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate, listen, and see. The employee must often sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift, push, or move up to fifteen (15) pounds.
Work Environment:
The Medical Scribe will work in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels typical of a physician’s office. Remote work may be available based on performance and business needs.
