- Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures, equipment, and patient care.
- Sensitivity to and respect for cultural differences and diverse backgrounds.
- In-depth understanding of patient privacy laws and HIPAA compliance to protect sensitive patient information.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare providers.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Experience with NexTech EMR or similar electronic medical records systems is preferred.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification is required, and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification is preferred. Experience with LASIK procedures is a plus.
Language Skills:
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential. The ability to speak Polish or Spanish is highly desired, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate, listen, and see. The employee must often sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift, push, or move up to fifteen (15) pounds.
Work Environment:
