Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and relationship-building within the skilled nursing and subacute care sector across the Illinois/Chicagoland area. This part-time role (20-35 hours per week) is ideal for a healthcare executive with a background in subacute nursing facility administration, business development, or VP-level leadership. The BDM will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, expanding referral networks, and leveraging data insights to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with skilled nursing facilities, healthcare providers, referral sources, and payers to expand business opportunities.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the skilled nursing and subacute care sector, focusing on market expansion and service differentiation.
- Represent the organization at networking events, industry conferences, and stakeholder meetings to enhance visibility and credibility.
Sales & Marketing Leadership
- Lead and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and strengthen referral pipelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance brand positioning and outreach efforts within the Chicagoland skilled nursing market.
- Analyze competitor trends and market data to optimize business development efforts.
Industry Knowledge & Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Access, analyze, and act on macro and micro-level healthcare data to inform strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes, reimbursement trends, and emerging best practices in skilled nursing and subacute care.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in business development, sales, and marketing within the healthcare sector.
- Strong network within the Illinois/Chicagoland skilled nursing and healthcare community.
- Expertise in industry regulations, reimbursement models, and payer relationships.
- Ability to interpret and utilize healthcare data to drive business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a related field preferred.
