Community Manager

The Section 8 - Senior Site Manager works closely with the Regional Manager to implement and monitor operational systems aligned with organizational goals. This role oversees all aspects of residential leasing and compliance with HUD guidelines, manages financial budgets and capital replacement plans, coordinates vendor services, ensures efficient building operations, fosters positive tenant relations, and handles contract management. The Senior Site Manager serves as a key point of contact for tenants and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Section 8 program requirements and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee residential leasing operations, ensuring compliance with HUD regulations and Section 8 housing guidelines.
• Develop and manage property budgets, including capital replacement plans and expense monitoring.
• Supervise vendor services and building maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Foster strong tenant relations through effective communication and resolution of issues.
• Coordinate contract management processes, including negotiation and enforcement.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure adherence to HUD standards.
• Provide detailed financial and operational reports to the Regional Manager.
• Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans for property performance and compliance.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies

Education / Background

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
• HUD experience is required, with a strong understanding of Section 8 housing programs and regulations.
• Prior experience as a Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager is required, with a minimum of 3 years in property management roles.
