TITLE: Director of Community-based Programs
FLSA: Exempt
SALARY: $105,000 - $110,000 DOE (such as post-licensure status, years of leadership overseeing crisis programs)
Position Summary
The Director of Community-Based Programs is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the community-based programs of the agency, including program delivery, quality control, managing the budget and contracts, evaluation, hiring managers, providing adequate training and the leadership development of staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position oversees programming and directly supervises managers and supervisors in the Community-based Programs Department, such as School-based, Outpatient Care Services (OCS), Wraparound, and Full Service Partnership (FSP) and the crisis teams. May supervise independent contractors as needed.
Minimum Qualifications And Competencies
Education /Background:
Position is hybrid remote. Employee must be willing to work in the office as required. Some positions required field-based services or meeting community partners at their place of business.

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies
Education /Background:
- Current Licensure in California as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Marriage Child Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
- Must be in good-standing with CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- CA Drivers License required.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years supervisory and managerial experience in a mental health program.
- Previous experience in crisis intervention programs, highly desired.
- Experience in community work and program development.
- Proven supervisory and effective leadership skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest and commitment to working with multiethnic, multicultural, low-income populations.
- Excellent documentation and clinical skills.
- Proven ability to follow-up and meet deadlines.
- Excellent initiative, flexibility, and stress-management in handling the demands of leadership.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate in order to balance the many responsibilities, and address the various issues, that a Director faces during the workday.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, especially Microsoft teams).
