Objective And Position Summary
The Director is responsible for leadership and administration of CPLC’s Social Services and Education Programs (SS&E) in Nevada. Existing programs include a broad spectrum of social service programs and education with a delivery services area across the state and potentially assist across the CPLC footprint, as directed. This position is accountable for the continued success and growth of existing programs as well as expanding service lines to provide comprehensive social services. The Director will ultimately be accountable for the quality of services as well as ensuring compliance with all legal, licensure and contractual regulations, timely reporting, and appropriate use of funds. The Director will report regularly on accomplishments, outcomes, impacts, program issues and challenges. Working with a team of Peers, Program Directors/Associate Directors, Program Leads/Managers and all Corporate Services teams, the Director will continuously expand services through community and corporate partnerships; procurement of funding, and development and implementation & design of new programs that fall under the umbrella of social services and education. Additionally, the Director will assist the Senior Vice President (SVP) with planning, organizing, and implementing public and private fund-raising initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- This Director position directly supervises a team of Program Directors, Associate Directors, Leaders and Education leadership (if applicable).
- Additionally, this position indirectly oversees all Nevada SS&E staff including approval of staff hires, evaluation, disciplinary actions and employee discharges.
Education/Background
- The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in social sciences, business or related degree with (5) five years’ experience in non-profit leadership including business applications;
- or minimally, a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business, or related field with 8-10 years leadership experience at the director level including business applications.
- Experience in development and implementation of multiple programs is highly preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered to meet the qualifications of this position.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
- Candidate must have or be eligible to obtain a level I Arizona fingerprint clearance card and must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance within the state of their residence.
- Proficiency in computer fundamentals and business software is required, Office 365 preferred.
- Must have proven leadership experience across multiple lines of services in multiple locations and be a strong relationship builder and communicator with experience leading diverse work teams.
- Must have demonstrated ability to develop an organization-wide strategy for program excellence, engage community partners, and have tangible examples of reporting and program measurement and evaluation.
- Must have experience in grant management, program design/development, securing resources/funds, building relationship and rapport with funders and in projecting and analyzing multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Must be committed to diversity and have strong leadership and management skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in NV market area external social service providers.
