What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Chicanos Por La Causa?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Case Manager will be responsible for coordinating and providing services to resettle refugees, immigrants, asylees and DACA youth in Maricopa County. The Case Manager will assess needs, develop a service plan, provide mentoring, education, and social support services needed to help them acclimate to their new country. Case Managers will fill an essential role in helping newly arrived refugees and immigrants navigate the complicated US education, workforce, and social services systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field of study preferred
Relevant professional experience in human services field required; minimum of 2 years’ experience strongly preferred
Experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations strongly preferred
Advanced MS Excel skills for data collection and financial record-keeping processes strongly preferred
