Candidates must be located in AZ, NM, NV, TX or CO. This is a remote position.
OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Coordinator provides support and demonstrates knowledge in functional areas of Talent Acquisition focusing on new hire onboarding. Maintain staffing records and systems and reports to management. Incumbent works closely with recruiter’s providing responsive and quality customer service to new hires and hiring managers.
SPECIALIZATIONS
- Ability to effectively interact with a diverse employee population including functional client groups
- Must perform cross-functional role between recruitment and onboarding
- Making independent judgement to continue or rescind a new hire offer based on background findings, pre-employment physical, or lack of follow through of clearing processes to start
- PC proficiency with various software including MS Office and recruitment & staffing specific programs
- Ability to conceive new approaches, streamline processes, and create customer interactions
- Strong time management, project skills, and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
- Ability to recognize and solve problems without direct supervision
- Excellent verbal, written, reading, and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Continuously seeks and recommends new methods to improve the onboarding process
- Records and reports on data outcomes pertaining to onboarding employees
- Provide reports on onboarding new hires and status updates
- Maintains staffing tracking system and generate monthly reports
- Adheres to service level agreement processes and procedures
- Responsible for record management setting up new hire records by uploading required documents
- Works in tandem with Human Resources Advisors and Generalists to extend quality customer service to business partners
- Provides support for Human Resources Leadership when needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Education /Background:
- HS Diploma/GED equivalency required; associate degree strongly preferred.
- BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field; a degree is highly desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant recruitment/staffing & human resources experience.
- Or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Other Requirements:
- Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, people solving skills and a thorough understanding of state and federal employment laws are a must.
- Proficiency with various software including Microsoft Office 365, and HRIS software
- Proficiency with ADP preferred
