What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Chicanos Por La Causa?
The Program Director leads and ensures overall management of the programmatic, administrative, financial, and operational systems related to the provision of care and services; provision of regular and timely reports to Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) regarding operations, services, and finances. The Progrma Director also serves as the primary representative of CPLC to ORR for all aspects of the program.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in social work or equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science degree; or a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ experience in child welfare administration, child protective services.

2 years of experience in program management or as director of a license childcare program

Currently or able to obtain a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) certification

Experience defining programs and delivering projects that meet rapidly evolving business needs

Experience coaching, developing, and retaining employees and providing a collaborative and positive work environment. Ability to work with all levels of staff and develop cross-functional relationship

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required

Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office products

Project management skills with demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects

Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with large impact
