OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and evaluating all community services programs to ensure they meet high standards of quality and compliance. The coordinator will oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols, conduct audits, and assess program performance. Additionally, they will work closely with program managers and staff to identify areas for improvement, provide training, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role is key in maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and ensuring that programs effectively meet the needs of the community. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will also manage reporting, data analysis, and communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders to drive the overall success of community services programs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for supervising and leading the team of Quality Assurance Monitors across all community services programs. This includes overseeing their daily activities, ensuring they are effectively conducting audits and evaluations, and providing guidance on quality assurance protocols. The Coordinator will also be responsible for the professional development of the quality assurance monitor team, offering training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure the team maintains high standards of performance and accuracy. Additionally, the Coordinator will manage the allocation of tasks, ensure deadlines are met, and foster a collaborative and efficient work environment to achieve program quality goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education /Background:
Education:
- A high school diploma is required, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, healthcare administration, quality management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (QA), such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), is preferred but not required.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance or program evaluation, ideally within the social services or education sector.
- Experience in program monitoring, compliance auditing, or data collection is essential.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing social services and education programs is beneficial (e.g., IDEA, Title I, state child welfare policies).
- Experience working with under-served or at-risk populations within social services and/or educational environments is preferred.
