POSITION SUMMARY
***MUST HAVE - A clean driving record and a current U.S. Commercial Drivers License/CDL***
Shelter Bus Driver to support the logistics of delivering essential supplies to shelters and individuals in need. Diligent and punctual individual with a clean driving record and excellent navigation skills, seeking a position as a Bus Driver to provide reliable and efficient service, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- City Operators Permit
- Drivers will have to take a defensive driving class
- High School Diploma or GED and two (2) progressive years of experience in general office procedures and customer service and driving
- Good customer skills to keep clients happy and retain them
- Being able to work well independently
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, for instance, when driving in inclement weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of computers, handheld devices and relevant electronic applications
- Outgoing, friendly, energetic
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Deadline driven, achieves result with little supervision
- Ability to collect and compile data and perform data entry
- Ability to multitask, ability to work under pressure
- Comfortable giving direction holds other accountable, and solution oriented
- Resilient and adaptable to change in direction
- Demonstrate the desire for continual self-improvement
