TITLE: Wraparound Therapist
FLSA: Exempt
SALARY: $73,388 - $74,888 (plus additional add-ons for licensed eligible or fully licensed candidates)
Wraparound offers child-focused, family-centered mental health services based on strength and needs. There are 10 principles to the Wraparound programs: Family Voice and Choice, Team-Based, Natural Supports, Collaboration, Community Based, Culturally Competent, Individualized Strength-based, Persistence, and Outcome Based. Our Wraparound teams work with our Parent Partners, Child and Family Specialist, and Facilitator to create goals. Together we create strategies to support families and track progress. We support clients 24/7.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Wraparound Therapist will utilize independent judgment and expertise to provide mental health services that include psycho-diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, rehabilitative and case management services. The Wraparound program provides 24-hour crisis intervention for children and transition-age youth at high-risk for incarceration, school failure, and removal from their home.
The Wraparound Therapist has a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Provide initial and annual assessments, evaluations, therapy, rehabilitation, crisis intervention and plan development and referral to psychiatrist when appropriate.
- Develop Problem List for mental health services with the client and family when necessary.
- Provide mental health treatment using multiple intervention techniques based on client and clinical need.
- Work collaboratively with various systems, for example:, DMH, DCFS, hospitals, regional center, schools, and residential facilities.
- Provide transportation for clients for linkage services, or other pre-approved outings, as needed.
- Must be able to attend to crises during after-hours.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education /Background:
- Master’s degree in social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy or related field required.
- Must be a Registered Associate with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and be in good standing.
- CA Driver License required.
- Spanish Speaking highly preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Experience providing therapy to children, families, and adults.
- Experience working with multi-ethnic/racial communities.
- Experience working in a community-based organization.
- Experience with EXYM system and DMH paperwork preferred but not required.
- Organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, especially Microsoft teams).
HYBRID REMOTE
Position is hybrid remote and requires telehealth and in-person appointments in the field and in the office, meeting with clients, prospects and community partners as needed. Therapist must be available to work during office hours as well as participate in the on-call rotation schedule for after-hours coverage as assigned. Must be able to provide services in both SPA 4 and SPA 6 as needed.
