Chicheria MX Kitchen is currently looking for a Host to come join our fun and dynamic team. We prefer some hosting or customer service background, but if you have the right personality and work ethic we would love to have you as a team member. We are a Mexican restaurant located at The Works Upper West Side in Atlanta. We are looking for candidates with weekdays and weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or rooms
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and provide information to callers in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle guest complaints or concerns and escalate to management when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and ability to handle phone inquiries professionally
