Job Description:
The Chichester School District is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Family and Consumer Science High School Teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. We are looking for an individual who can create an engaging and supportive learning environment, with a strong focus on helping students develop real-world skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and issue educational content, including notes, tests, and assignments
- Present clear, high quality, flexible and appropriate content knowledge to students through planning and preparation, in a safe and supportive classroom environment by providing ongoing communications and engaging instructional delivery.
- To follow the standard of member conduct as stated in the PA Code of Professional Practice and Conduct for Educators
- Grade assignments, assess and track students’ progress, and plan educational activities tailored to varying learning levels
- Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student success and implement district initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance
- Uphold school policies, procedures, and professional ethics
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university and hold a proper Pennsylvania certification for the position
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid PA certification specific to content area: Family and Consumer Science PK-12
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools and software for instruction.

Salary : $54,120 - $99,202
