What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Analytics Product Leader position at Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center?
As a part of the Chick-fil-A Supply Chain Analytics (SCA) team, the Supply Chain Principal Analytics Product Leader will be responsible for leading a team of analysts in support of the supplier product lane. This includes procurement and supplier quality and safety. The SCA team generates actionable insights by combining data with business knowledge to ensure that all Supply Chain functions have the timely, quality information and applied analysis they need for business decisions supporting Chick-fil-A Restaurant operators. Examples of team projects include KPI development, dashboarding & reporting, data management/curation, data visualization, data exploration, and statistical modeling.

As An Analytics Team Leader
- Manage and lead a a team of analytics professionals and contrators who generate insights and data-driven process improvements
- Identify analytical opprotunites and prioritize execution of value-driven projects while addressing operational constraints
- Leverage a strategic framework to mature supply chain’s data and analytics decision making
- Understand, define and document supply chain business data/analytics needs or use cases
- Train and mentor team members while overseeing the day-to-day execution of analytics projects
Create and Understand Business Requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for projects and initiatives
- Analyze and interpret business needs, translating them into actionable tasks and priorities
- Take complex, unclear, or incomplete information and distill it into clear tasks, objectives, and timelines for the team
- Proactively address potential roadblocks or gaps in understanding before they affect project outcomes
- Serve as a guide for the team in ambiguous situations by setting clear goals and offering support in navigating uncertainties
- Engage in meetings not only to absorb information but to contribute valuable insights and recommendations based on team and project needs
- Collaborate with other teams, ensuring that your team’s work is aligned with broader organizational goals
- Anticipate future needs or potential issues and bring those perspectives to discussions, positioning yourself as a proactive leader rather than just a participant
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar quantitative field (3.2 GPA minimum)
- 7-9 years of analtyics experience with focus on performance management and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively to others
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx and Tableau
