What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitality Team Member position at Chick-fil-A | Cortez Plaza and Manatee?
We're looking for our next great Hospitality Team Members!
Position Type: Full-time (30-40 hours/week)
Preferred experience: 1-2 years’ experience working with customers
Essential Functions:
- Genuine Hospitality: exhibiting Core Values of Chick-fil-A to each guest and answering guest requests
- Great Food: fulfilling drink and desert orders, following food safety requirements, and verifying food quality
- Fast & Accurate Service: bagging orders correctly as received from the kitchen and maintaining a quick speed of service in all areas of the business
- Clean and Safe Environment: sanitizing tables, mopping and sweeping all areas of the restaurant, and emptying trash compartments
- Other tasks requested by the leadership team as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a source of reliable transportation
- Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required
- Works in hot, noisy, and fast paced environment
- Mobility required during shifts
- Must work well under pressure
- Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently

REQUIREMENTS
Located in Bradenton, FL, Chick-fil-A Cortez Plaza and Chick-fil-A Manatee are run by Nathan Hoeksema, who become a Chick-fil-A Operator in 2000 at the age of 23! While working behind the Chick-fil-A counter at age 15, Nathan was captured by the company's mission and after college, felt called to pursue Chick-fil-A as his place of mission. After 11 years of operating and seeing tremendous success in his first restaurant location, Nathan was presented with the opportunity to move to Bradenton and open his current restaurant in the fall of 2013. Since opening in 2013, the team has consecutively increased store sales with a projection to be in the top 10 stores in the entire Chick-fil-A chain by the end of 2019. Now in 2023 Cortez Plaza is in the top 3 stores in the entire chain. Also in 2023 Nathan has opened his second location: Chick-fil-A Manatee.
