Job Duties for Chick-fil-A Team Leader
- Supervise and Lead Team Members:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring the team provides exceptional customer service.
- Lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude and setting a standard for teamwork.
- Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing support to existing team members.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure all guests receive friendly, fast, and accurate service in a clean and welcoming environment.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and positive manner.
- Ensure team members maintain high standards of customer service.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure smooth operations by managing team tasks and prioritizing effectively.
- Oversee food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist in inventory management and maintain stock levels to ensure smooth service.
- Monitor kitchen and dining areas to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Staffing and Scheduling:
- Assist in creating work schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
- Coordinate breaks and ensure that employees are scheduled in alignment with business needs.
- Provide direction and coaching during shifts to ensure effective team performance.
- Financial and Operational Goals:
- Help manage operational budgets, including food costs, labor, and other expenses.
- Assist in achieving sales goals and ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed accurately.
- Maintain Safety Standards:
- Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed.
- Regularly monitor food quality and cleanliness of the restaurant to ensure adherence to Chick-fil-A standards.
- Support team members in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact between the leadership team and team members.
- Communicate important operational information, policies, and procedures to the team.
- Encourage open communication and collaboration among team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Assist in Administrative Tasks:
- Support management with team meetings, reports, and other administrative duties.
- Help track employee performance, attendance, and other HR-related tasks as needed.
- Promote Chick-fil-A Values:
- Represent the Chick-fil-A brand positively both within the restaurant and in the community.
- Uphold and promote Chick-fil-A’s values, including integrity, teamwork, and hospitality.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire date
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a source of reliable transportation
- Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
- Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
- Mobility required during shifts
- Must work well under pressure
- Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
- Must be able to Lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate and use ladders and step ladders
