What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Room Hostess/Host position at Chick-fil-A | Green Mountain LLC?
As a Dining Room Host at Chick-fil-A, you will be the friendly face that creates an inviting and warm atmosphere for our guests. In addition to maintaining a welcoming dining environment, you will assist with cashiering & running food when needed while ensuring our guests are having an enjoyable dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Relations:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the dining area with a friendly and positive attitude
- Answer any questions guests may have about the menu
- Ensure that dining room is clean and organized
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Check-in with the guest throughout their meal; Offer them a refresh or freshly ground pepper
Cashiering:
- Assist with taking orders at the front counter as needed.
- Operate the cash register, process payments, handle cash, credit, and mobile orders.
- Provide guests with accurate receipts and ensure smooth order transactions.
Food Running:
- Deliver food orders to the appropriate table/guest in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all food is served correctly, fresh, and in accordance with Chick-fil-A standards.
Dining Room Maintenance:
- Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, including clearing tables and resetting for the next guest.
- Refill condiments, napkins, straws, and other dining room essentials as needed.
- Maintain an organized and tidy front-of-house area.
- Take out the trash Maintain Restroom Cleanliness
Team Collaboration:
- Work with kitchen staff, cashiers, and managers to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Assist fellow team members in completing tasks to meet service goals.
