Overview
Corporate Communications partners across the Chick-fil-A organization to execute effective, compelling internal communications that build culture, drive change and support business goals. The team delivers strategic messages across a variety of digital, video and print platforms to inspire, educate and equip Chick-fil-A Operators and Support Center Staff.
Specifically, this Corporate Communications Project Lead will focus on consulting and collaborating with a set of business leaders within several sub-departments of Chick-fil-A’s Field Operations and People organizations to create and execute communications strategies and tactics in support of Operators and Restaurants. Responsibilities will include introducing new programs and solutions to Restaurants; creative storytelling to build understanding and trust; and sharing business strategy and vision with internal audiences for Support Now, Launch, Operator Fond Farewell, Operator Wellbeing and Field Learning. Additionally, the selected communicator will provide logistical communications support for Regional Planning Meetings and NEXT, which continue to be important Culture Cornerstone events for Chick-fil-A, Inc., and well as facilitate Operator goal submissions to inform future business direction and event content alignment.To be successful in this role, the communicator must be resourceful, collaborative and able to quickly learn the business, its audiences and their needs.
This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia. If a candidate meets our relocation policy guidelines, Chick-fil-A does offer relocation.

Responsibilities
- Business partner: Provide leadership and strategic business thinking around key strategies and initiatives, connecting to enterprise strategies, then execute tactics to help business partners and Operators achieve their goals.
- Project management/agency oversight: Create and execute major deadline-driven communications initiatives, on budget and on time, using appropriate combinations of vendors, contractors, agencies and in-house services.
- Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with Corporate Communications team, key business partners and Operators.
- Audience: Understand Operator and Restaurant needs to tailor communications in the appropriate manner. Regular Restaurant visits are required with reporting and applying key takeaways to work initiatives a must.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7 years of equivalent experience
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Track record as a communicator who thrives on managing a variety of initiatives concurrently and on deadline
- Self-starter able to work independently or in a group, adapt to shifting priorities, and who enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of franchised and/or highly matrixed organizations
- Experience in quick service, food and beverage or hospitality industries
