Job Summary
As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations, ensuring that our food preparation and service meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work alongside a dedicated team to support the culinary department in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include food handling, preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking and catering services.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Support cooks in the execution of menu items, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain an organized workspace by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and effective communication.
Skills
- Proficient knife skills for food preparation tasks.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in catering or food service environments.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Bilingual in Spanish in English is a BIG plus.
Schedule- 4 to 5 days a week 2PM-Close (10:15PM-10:45PM)
