At Chick-fil-A North Valley, Directors are leaders who oversee a unit of the business (hospitality, kitchen, training, etc). Directors are responsible for providing clear direction for managers, coaching managers to success, and providing ESRA (expecations, skills, resources, and accountability) for a department while reporting to the Executive Director or Operating Partner. For this position, we are looking growth-minded, humble, entreprenerial leader who is interested in not simply a job but building a career with a world-recognized brand. The director would be placed either in a hospitality, kitchen, or training leadership role with the expectation to rotate through other units of the business as they grow with us.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Providing strong leadership and guidance to the back of house or front of house team, including team members, trainers, shift leaders and managers to ensure smooth operations and consistent hospitality and food quality.
- Develop and coach a team of leaders to execute the restaurant’s vision and uphold its values.
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational efficiency and excellence.
- Lead efforts to evaluate and improve systems, processes, and team performance to drive sustainable growth in sales and profitability.
- Model core values of Care, Unity, and Relentlessness to inspire a positive and collaborative culture.
- Recruit, train, and grow team members and leaders through intentional development and mentorship.
- Set and monitor store goals, focusing on key metrics such as guest satisfaction, food safety, and financial performance.
- Assist with planning and coordinating staffing, resources, and operations to ensure peak times run smoothly.
- Collaborate with the Owner/Operator and Leadership Team to align on business strategies and execute the long-term vision.
- Conduct off-shift responsibilities, including team training, leader development, and operational reviews.
- Ensure all resources are managed responsibly and that Chick-fil-A standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with the certified trainer and training manager, to deploy and train about new menu items, limited-time offers, and seasonal specials that align with Chick-fil-A's brand and customer preferences.
- Leading team members through providing accountability, clear expectations and tracking team member attendance.
- Ensuring compliance with local health department regulations, food safety standards, and Chick-fil-A's operational policies, taking necessary actions to address any violations or concerns.
- A willingness to work in a staff position, stepping in to support operations and provide hands-on assistance.
Base Wage:
•Compensation: $24-$25/hour overtime pay ($55,000-$70,000/year), flexible for the right candidate
