Basic Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of kitchen leadership experience
- Passionate about food quality, customer service, and the guest experience
- Possesses a growth mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Food Service or QSR Management experience preferred
- Have 1 or more years experience
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and Saturdays
Job Summary
Kitchen managers are responsible for assisting the leadership team in all aspects of kitchen operations for the back of house and are responsible for supervising the team members and team leaders for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant following established opening and closing procedures.
Kitchen managers ensure food preparation is done according to Chick-fil-A and ServSafe standards and all requirements of food safety are followed and processes/systems are also adhered to with high quality. Managers will also oversee daily quality assessments; hiring, training and scheduling of kitchen staff as well as inventory management and truck ordering processes. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet for prolonged periods of time. We need leadership to be excited about giving our guests REMARKABLE Service!
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensuring team members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders
- Make sure team members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
- Ensures team members work at a pace to maintain restaurants established speed of service guidelines
- Make certain that workstations, kitchen area, machines and refrigerators are clean at all times
- Perform any tasks as needed throughout shift
- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
- Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to leadership team for appropriate handling
- Manage inventory and assist with truck ordering
- Strictly adheres to all company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS
