Overview:
Back-of-House Chick-fil-A Team Members are the heart and soul of our operations, cooking up hospitality. At Chick-fil-A Rivers Avenue, the Back-of-House Team Member role is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to serve guests and grow a career. We are seeking full-time candidates, especially with morning availability, who have excellent people skills and a sense of urgency to be the driving force in helping us serve guests. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who enjoy serving. Experience is desired, but not required. We can teach all you need to know. *Qualified candidates may be hired into leadership roles with additional responsibilities and pay.
How You’ll Make a Difference:
- Become knowledgeable of all Chick-fil-A’s menu items & the related recipes
- Execute hospitality by cooking, preparing, and presenting food orders to meet Chick-fil-A’s quality standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of recipes and other cooking requirements
- Contribute to a safe and overall positive environment by maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift in all food preparations areas
- Handle all food-related storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards that comply with all federal, state, & local regulatory procedures
- Perform various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dishwashing, general & equipment cleaning, storage & rotation of food and supplies
- Maintain a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume, to preserve a positive work environment and a hospital experience for our guests
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
What We’re Looking For:
- Punctuality and timeliness in attendance for shifts
- Ability to work at least 3 days per week and available most Saturdays
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat as needed
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
