As a Back-of-House Team Member, you will work in a fast-paced and friendly environment, where your dedication and commitment to excellence will be recognized and rewarded. You will have the opportunity to learn valuable customer service skills, teamwork, and leadership development.
Responsibilities:
- Properly handle and manage raw proteins.
- Prepare and cook proteins / starches to recipe.
- Execute cold food preparation and production.
- Monitor and manage both hot and cold food hold times.
- Assemble and package both hot & cold ready-to-eat menu items.
- Rotate working inventories according to FIFO.
- Adhere to established CFA Food Safety 5 Guidelines.
- Adhere to established CFA Production Standards.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum High School diploma or GED.
- Two (2) years prior food services kitchen experience.
- Working knowledge Food Safety principles.
- ServSafe Manager certification, preferred
- Ability to work in cold freezer and cooler environments
- Ability to properly use and work from a ladder.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to properly lift and manage 40 pounds at shoulder height.
