The Catering Coordinator ensures an efficient and effectively run catering operation within the restaurant, thus ensuring a profitable and desirable restaurant. Coordinating and communicating well with all other Directors and team members is of high importance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the catering operation of the restaurant.
- Analyze and plan catering sales
- Review weekly reports, including staff control, food control and sales.
- Work with other Directors to establish staffing and food budgets.
- Work with other Directors to ensure suitable inventory levels
- Collaborate on schedules to ensure there is always enough workers to meet the catering demands.
- Evaluate staff performance, food quality, and catering success on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Meet and greet customers, organize tables and offer advice about the menu.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Assist with all any other restaurant operations as needed.
Catering experience and references are required.
