Chick-fil-A West Chester is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Care and Engagement Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in fostering meaningful relationships with our local community while driving catering sales and overseeing community-based events. This is a hybrid role, requiring 50% operational responsibilities within the restaurant and 50% engagement in the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Develop, organize, and execute community events and promotions at the Chick-fil-A West Chester location.
- Work closely with the restaurant leadership team to ensure smooth execution of all events.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including setup, staffing, and cleanup, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Be present at all planned events to manage day-of operations and guest interactions.
- Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and other community organizations.
- Serve as a community ambassador for Chick-fil-A West Chester, promoting brand values and fostering goodwill in the area.
- Represent Chick-fil-A West Chester at local meetings, events, and networking opportunities to establish lasting relationships and community partnerships.
- Catering Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new catering opportunities in the local community, including businesses, schools, and organizations.
- Actively work to increase catering sales through relationship-building and customized solutions for potential clients.
- Ensure that catering orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Donation Budget Management:
- Oversee the restaurant’s donation and sponsorship budget, ensuring funds are allocated effectively to support community outreach efforts.
- Evaluate requests for donations and sponsorships, maintaining a balance between business objectives and community support.
- Communicate and track donation activities, ensuring that the restaurant's charitable contributions align with company policies and values.
- Operational Support:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the restaurant as needed, ensuring a seamless service experience for guests.
- Provide support for special events, promotions, and local marketing efforts, working in collaboration with the restaurant’s team.
- Assist with team training, ensuring employees are aware of the restaurant’s community engagement initiatives and how they can contribute.
- Community Outreach Deliveries:
- Manage and take responsibility for community deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient service to local businesses, schools, and organizations as needed.
- Be on-site during community delivery events to maintain positive relationships with customers and clients.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in event planning, community outreach, or sales, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Proactive, energetic, and comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community outreach and deliveries.
