Customer Service Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming environment will contribute to a positive shopping experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to provide informed recommendations.
• Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product demonstrations as needed to promote new items or sales.
• Supervise the front-end operations during shifts, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and store displays.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash register operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with supervising staff or training new employees is a plus.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.50 per hour
