At Chick-fil-A, the Team Member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Team Members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. Team Members are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food. Dining Room Host presents a positive first impression of the restaurant’s friendliness, excellent service, and high standards. The Host or Hostess also greets guests upon arrival and bids them farewell as they leave.
A Host/Hostess must be able to carry on a natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. Additionally, the Host cares for our guests by refilling beverages and performing cleaning duties such as cleaning glasses doors and windows, ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly. As a member of an energetic team, the Host/Hostess will also need to clear tables and trays.
