Job Summary:
As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen. Your primary responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils, and cookware while upholding rigorous food safety standards. You will work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes loud environment to support our kitchen team and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing equipment and manually wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Food Safety: Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and maintaining a clean work area.
- Cleaning Duties: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, countertops, and floors regularly.
- Stocking: Ensure that clean dishes, utensils, and cookware are properly stocked and readily available for use.
- Support Team: Assist kitchen staff as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Adherence: Follow health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and perform manual dishwashing.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud environment.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
