Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular food safety audits of the restaurant, including :
- Food handling procedures (storage, preparation, cooking, serving)
- Temperature checks of food and equipment
- Sanitation practices (cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces, equipment, and utensils)
- Document audit findings clearly and concisely, including any non-compliant areas.
- Communicate audit results to the restaurant management team, providing specific recommendations for corrective actions.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure they are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date on all relevant food safety regulations and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on food safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all audits and corrective actions.
