Who We Are:
Everyone's job at Chick-fil-A is to serve. No matter our title or job description, our reason for coming to work is to generously share our time

The Secret Ingredient is You:
Customers love Chick-fil-A® because of the Team Members who serve them. Team Members are encouraged to do the little things every day to make a difference for someone else: as simple as a smile or as inspired as running after a customer because they forgot a straw for their milkshake. Job Description:
Chick-fil-A at Shepherdstown Crossing is seeking full-time FRIENDLY, ENERGETIC and MOTIVATED people to join our restaurant Leader Training Program.
How the program works:
- Based on your experience, your availability and your preferences, you may be interviewed for either a Front of House or Back of House Kitchen Team Member position in the restaurant.
- Once hired on as a Team Member, you will be designated as a "Leader in Training" and will be assigned Trainers and Leaders who will provide training and guide you through your development process.
- Initially, you will be required to learn and work in all of the different positions in your responsible area of the restaurant.
- Once you are able to demonstrate proficiency and successfully train these positions back to the Trainers/Leaders, you will be evaluated for promotion to the next level in order to continue your leadership development.
- Depending on your performance and your experience, the typical progression path can look like this: Team Member -> Trainer -> Team Leader -> Shift Leader -> Manager -> Director.
- Some Team Members may advance at difference paces than others and may advance directly to higher level positions based on performance and experience.
- Typically a review is performed after approximately 30 days of employment. In order to continue in the Leader Training Program, it is expected that you maintain good standing with your work availability, attendance, good rapport with other Team Members, good attitude, no discipline issues, good work ethic, etc. Failure to maintain good standing can stall or even cause termination from the program.
Our Team Members must be caring, friendly, and have a genuine heart to serve others. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. As a Team Member, you may be placed in our Front of House, focusing on guest experience, order accuracy and efficiency, and the cleanliness of our restaurant. Or you may be placed in a Back of House/Kitchen position which would entail working in the kitchen, prepping and cooking food to ensure quality and accuracy of orders. Attention to detail and warm hospitality make a difference in all areas of our restaurant.
