Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional to join our leadership team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our Leadership Team, this role is pivotal in overseeing the operational success of our business. The Training Director will work closely with the leadership team, taking responsibility for recruiting, selection, onboarding, training, and development of team members, as well as ensuring the effective execution of organizational goals.
Availability
- Flexible availability is required to support business needs. Shifts typically range between 5 AM to 11 PM.
- Minimum of 30 hours per week is required; maximum of 45 hours per week (with breaks included).
- Opportunity to work beyond 45 hours subject to approval from Operations.
- Availability to work weekends (Friday and Saturday) is mandatory, unless prior vacation arrangements have been made.
- Holiday shifts must be coordinated with other leaders to ensure proper coverage.
- Vacation time and time off must be managed collaboratively with other leaders to ensure operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection
- Lead efforts to recruit, interview, and select top talent that aligns with the company’s brand and values.
- Oversee recruiting platforms (e.g., Workstream) and coordinate recruiting events such as local job fairs, high school, and college recruitment.
- Develop and implement creative recruiting materials, including flyers, printed items, and signage.
- Manage the interview process and ensure the recruitment system is optimized for efficiency.
Onboarding
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience that effectively introduces new team members to the company’s culture, policies, and expectations.
- Oversee new hire orientation, including uniform distribution, completion of paperwork, and HR payroll entries.
- Ensure all onboarding materials, such as welcome letters and orientation invitations, are provided to new hires in a timely manner.
Training and Development
- Oversee the organization, tracking, and execution of all team member training and operational development.
- Monitor and ensure completion of new hire training within the first six months of employment.
- Update and manage the Google Training Tracker to ensure progress is visible to all stakeholders and identify opportunities for skill development.
- Schedule and coordinate trainers for both new hire training and operational/positional training.
- Regularly update and improve training resources, tools, and platforms to meet organizational needs.
- In critical times, plan and execute large-scale or round-robin training sessions requiring intensive coordination and communication.
Performance Management
- Supervise the performance of new hires within their first 30 days, ensuring alignment with the company’s culture, competencies, and core values.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and maintain detailed notes on employee progress, including PIP reports and training feedback.
Certified Trainer Program
- Lead and manage the Certified Trainer and Training program, ensuring that both new hires and current team members receive top-tier operational training.
- Oversee the selection and onboarding of Certified Trainers, ensuring they are proficient in navigating PATHWAY modules and assigning tasks.
- Develop and provide ongoing development for Certified Trainers through feedback sessions and evaluations.
- Coordinate the timely execution of new LTOs and menu item rollouts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in training, talent development, and employee evaluation.
- Strong skills in employee relations, strategic planning, and workforce management.
- Knowledge of employment and labor law.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

- Starting at $19 per hour, based on experience.
