About the Role

We’re looking for a CMM programmer – a person who is a vital member of the quality team, supports production, and ensures products and services conform to customer specifications.

What You’ll Do

• Understand customer requirements and ensure they are met
• Create programs in PC-DMIS and improve existing programs on Hexagon and Brown and Sharpe Machines
• Program parts with heavy GD&T
• Align programs to High QA Inspection Manager Inspection Plans
• Effectively hand off programs to be setup and run by operators
• Embrace ERP technology to manage and execute CMM schedules
• Standardize fixturing and setup processes
• Optimize cycle times for production volume
• Perform first article, in process, and final inspections of precision machined parts

Qualifications / Requirements

• PC-DMIS or Calypso programming experience (at least 5 years unless proficient)
• Ability to maintain high standards while being time conscious
• Ability to work independently
• Strong GD&T fundamentals and familiarity with tight tolerances
• Machine shop experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Detail oriented and focused
