You are responsible for cleaning all dishes and equipment and keeping the kitchen and prep areas are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. It is essential that quality of cleaning of is of the highest of standards. This position requires someone who takes pride in his/her work.
Dishwasher/Back of House Staff Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Empty Trash
- Receive and put away inventory.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and surfaces.
- Sanitize and clean dishes.
- Change and/or assist in changing of oil in fryers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Back of House Requirements:
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently (fast-pace environment)
- Positive attitude.
- Customer-service oriented.
- Excellent verbal communication and memorization skills.
- Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Standing for long periods up to and exceeding four hours
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs • Able to work on your feet for long shifts
- Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant's operations, as needed.
Seeking day time, evening and weekend.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
