Job Summary
We are seeking a Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team in a café setting. The ideal candidate will assist in providing excellent customer service and contribute to the overall dining experience.
Duties
- Greet customers and assist them with menu selections
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area
- Assist in food preparation and serving when needed
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to customers
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store, food industry, or café setting is preferred
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash registers
- Strong cash handling skills
- Basic culinary knowledge is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a customer-centric approach
