Responsibilities:
Operations and People/Staffing:
- Holds hourly staff accountable through timely feedback and coaching.
- Responsible for staff education, menu meeting execution, and guest satisfaction.
- Executes new hire training and ongoing training follow-up.
- Maintains proper staffing levels throughout all shifts.
- Ensures the restaurant is clean and tidy.
- Focuses on guest satisfaction and resolves any guest issues.
- Provides leadership and serves as a role model for fellow managers and staff members.
Business Financials:
- Develops an understanding of the P&L statement and participates in P&L meetings.
- Accountable for cash handling, including opening and closing bank drawer reconciliation, bank deposits, and check writing.
- Supervises hourly staff and management to achieve budgeted costs regarding labor, food, beverage, and controllables.
Nice to Have:
- Previous restaurant management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting sales/cost targets, personal goals, and developing managers.
- Computer/POS skills.
