What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering/Marketing Specialist position at Chicken Salad Chick?
*Plan and execute at least two special events or community drop-offs in each community per month
· Create a marketing calendar one quarter in advance at all times for both stores (in collaboration with owner).
· Use creative design skills to make signs for stores, social media posts, etc
· Work closely with community marketing manager from corporate to plan events and to acquire graphics for those events.
· Take photos and videos at special events to post on social media
· Post each weekday on Instagram and 2-3 times weekly on FB
· Seek opportunities for exposure and inform owner such as golf tournaments, school and community functions, etc
· Wear branded clothing and nametag at events when representing CSC. Wear closed toe non-slip shoes when inside kitchen.
· Dress for success and to impress everyday and at each event. Bring you best self to work
· Keep a detailed calendar of events.
· Prepare donation gifts using branded merchandise and free meal cards as needed
· Assist owner and GM with other duties to maintain the store, serve the guest and grow the business or as needed.
Catering and Events Specialist
*work and promote the brand at hospital pop ups. Consistently work 2 hospital locations per week.
· Take catering orders and ensure orders are prepared on time (in coordination with managers)
· Keep a detailed calendar of catering orders. Also, use the system at the catering table to ensure communication is maintained with managers and staff of status of orders.
· Deliver orders. Use Catering van when available
· Make qualified sales calls to develop catering business
· Maintain and create prospect list with notes
· Use Monkey Media to track orders and maintain database of guests
· Have two weekly interactions with owner to provide update on catering/marketing plans and prospect list/call report to owner on Mondays and Fridays
· Reach sales goals as provided by owner
· Record mileage when using personal vehicle. Turn in mileage report each Monday for the previous week.
· Work positions at store when the need arises but no later than 1:15 unless in extreme circumstances
· Maintain regular hours between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 Monday – Friday with the understanding there will be fluctuations and occasional weekend responsibilities according to event and catering schedule
