FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides consultation to users for all aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems software.
- Participate as technical lead on projects related to “production” related equipment.
- Provides technical support and guidance through Tier 2 support and works with vendors to resolve Tier 3 issues.
- Support end user hardware break/fix process, Manages hardware provisioning.
- Administers the daily performance of various computer systems, networks, and applications.
- Responds to user inquiries via phone, email, tracking system, or in person regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
- Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
- Responsible for documenting solutions to problems and developing end-user guidelines. May provide on-site training to users Sets up computer equipment for associate use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Installs and performs various levels of repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
- Maintains records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
- Consults with and makes recommendations to users on selection of hardware and software products to address business requirements.

- Certification highly preferred

- Must have experience with PCs, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office products
- Good working knowledge of network fundamentals
- Understanding of computer hardware, mobility devices & client/Server applications
- Must be able to learn new software packages
- Must have PC troubleshooting skills
- Must possess strong customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks at once
