This position requires you to help keep Chico Sports Club spotless every day, so our ideal candidate needs to be energetic and highly organized. You must also have a positive attitude and be able to mentor and coach your fellow employees. Being flexible to work different shifts including early mornings, nights and weekends is a plus as our shifts vary from when we open until we close. Proper chemical handling techniques and knowledge of cleaning products are also a plus.

Specific Job Duties:
Cleaning building from floors to walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming from the front of the building to the back.
Replenishing supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, seat covers, etc.
Gathering and emptying trash throughout the building.
Cleaning windows and mirrors using glass cleaner or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Dusting/wiping down/sanitizing furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Following a strict cleaning log in which it specifies what areas of the gym you are to clean depending on what shift you work during the day.
Mixing water and detergents/acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Notifying supervisor(s) concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Carrying towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts, hand carts, or by hand as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
