Job Summary:
Berghoff Design Group (BDG) is seeking an experienced, highly-skilled, and motivated individual to join our team as an Enhancement Manager. This position serves as an inspirational leader to our supervisors, foremen and crews; exceeds client expectations in landscape and horticultural care; utilizing the BDG Vision, Mission and Values. Responsible for overseeing the work of the BDG Maintenance Landscape Enhancement crews, Irrigation technicians, Lighting technicians. Assists with inventory management. Works with the other Managers and Vice Presidents in prioritizing and scheduling Enhancement, Irrigation and Lighting work. Manages and coordinates work of enhancement projects, irrigation and lighting work in conjunction with the assigned property Supervisor. Manages client expectations with frequent and proactive verbal and written communication to client, office and property supervisor as the project dictates.
- Train, mentor and guides foremen and crew members on enhancement irrigation and lighting teams
- Coordinates work and daily schedules in conjunction with office, property managers and supervisors
- Assist Field Employee Administrator with hiring of Foremen and Crew members
- Proactively anticipates and communicates schedule changes, including delays to Vice Presidents and relevant Supervisors and managers
- Ensure procedures are followed for maintenance and protection of all company assets, such as vehicles, maintenance tools and equipment
- Supervises management of inventory and materials on enhancement, irrigation and lighting vehicles
- Work with Vice Presidents to schedule jobs for maximized efficiency and client service
- Manages all work orders and project budgets to ensure accurate timely completion and workflow
- Walk and assess properties irrigation and lighting systems for necessary repairs or improvements with Property Supervisor
- Oversees and support all assigned crews with Timescape to ensure accuracy of inventory used and hours on job site
- Inspect client properties with Property Supervisors to ensure completion of all enhancement, irrigation and lighting projects in accordance with BDG Values
- Proactively assess opportunities for BDG maintenance to enhance gardens at client properties
- Make purchasing decisions within company guidelines, budget, and client needs to complete all enhancement, irrigation and lighting projects
- Complete and check for accuracy - BDG forms and procedures - lighting work orders, irrigation paperwork, blue sheets, work orders, packing slips, route board, attendance log, etc.
- Oversees and manage seasonal flower crews
- Assess and provide all information needed for purchase orders and proposals to the office and Property Supervisor
- Reinforce previous training classes with field personnel on properties and in the office
- Receive certifications and continue education in the appropriate horticultural and construction areas
- Perform any/all other duties as requested or assigned by Vice Presidents

$85,000 - $95,000
