What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Administrator position at Chief Corporate Office?
Chief Industries’ Corporate Office is seeking a Security Administrator to join the Chief team. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Information Security Tools and maintenance of enterprise security systems. Job responsibilities will also include auditing and reporting of systems and applications to ensure proper cyber security levels are maintained.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively monitor and support internal and external security systems (Incident & Problem Management).
- Compile comprehensive audit reports identifying potential risks / threats
- Report on KPIs in relation to compliance and effectiveness of the information security controls and ensure reporting to key stakeholders
- Advise and support the IT Infrastructure Manager with defining specific information, security controls and policies
- Lead the internal information security awareness program
- Carry out security assessments in relation to projects and change management
- Maintain the threat and information risk register and recommend the appropriate remediation
- Ensure infrastructure, applications and data security/privacy controls are maintained in compliance with corporate and regulatory policies
- Assist the Service Desk support team in resolving client-side issues when needed
- Support business continuity processes through continued documenting and testing of infrastructure environment
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in a cyber security related field and two or more years of experience in an area such as server support, switching/routing technologies, firewall/network security configuration, internet protocols like TCP/IP, Office365 and Azure administration is required.
- Professional certifications preferred.
