What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Planner position at Chief Fabrication?
Chief Fabrication is seeking an Account Planner to join the Chief team. This position will be responsible for meeting customer demand by implementing effective planning and scheduling techniques to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing inventory levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all external customer communications and inquiries.
- Manage order fulfillment by processing MRP requirements, purchase orders, and sales requisitions while ensuring efficient inventory flow and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure pricing accuracy, resolve quantity and freight discrepancies, and analyze delivery performance reports to investigate and correct delinquent shipment records.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Prior experience in account planning, problem solving, or related role within a customer driven environment is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree preferred.
