You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VI band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
- Applying Federal Human Resources, laws, regulations and policies sufficient to provide technical oversight and direct the activities of subordinate staff in the areas of employee relations and performance management.
- Serving as a technical expert to high-level agency officials regarding a variety of human resource matters, issues, and operations; presenting viable solutions to address management/customer needs and resolving potential problems.
The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
