Overview
Our client seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in your territory.
- Providing service and support to customers during design, construction, and post-project completion.
- Conduct regular visits to customer locations to understand their needs and present suitable products or services.
- Partnering with Project Managers to create submittals and conduct pre-construction meetings.
- Conducting technical and product training in the territory or at our manufacturers’ facilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account management in the CRM system.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that showcase product benefits and features.
Experience
- Construction industry knowledge and experience reading project documents, including drawings, schedules, and submittals.
- The ability to work on a strict timeline and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
- Have strong relationship-building and relationship-management skills.
- Build trust through honesty, integrity, and follow-through.
- 3-5 years of related experience in the construction field is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
