Who we are looking for
Purpose
We are seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Analyst Intern to join our Digital Team. This role offers a great learning opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SEO and digital marketing strategies. The intern will focus on a backlink audit project for our websites, assisting on analysis, and offering actionable recommendations to optimize our backlink profile. Additionally, the intern will research AI’s impact on SEO to help enhance our strategy to stay ahead of industry trends.
This position is ideal for someone enthusiastic about digital marketing and data-driven decision-making, offering the opportunity to learn the tools, techniques and strategies that drive successful SEO campaigns.
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Boston, MA office.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of the website’s backlink profile using tools such as SEMrush.
- Identify toxic or low-quality backlinks and evaluate their potential impact on website performance.
- Assist in creating a disavow list for submission to Google Search Console.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create reports summarizing the findings and insights.
- Provide actionable recommendations for improving our strategy and generate a list of potential new backlinks.
- Assist in executing link-building communications and outreach efforts.
- Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and backlink best practices to enhance knowledge and share insights.
Experience Required
Education
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
